Between Champagne and Lorraine, 16th and 18th century castle, former medieval fortress transformed during the Renaissance, then refurbished in the Louis XV style, residence of Duke Decrès, Minister of the Navy to Napoleon I. Open to visitors (historical monument from the 16th and 18th centuries with a collection of furniture).

Guest rooms


Opening onto a park with a grand perspective and promenade around springs of running water, bridges and turrets, the château offers five guest rooms set up in 18th century apartments with period furniture. Large and small lounges, billiards, library are available to our guests. Breakfast is served depending on the season in the large dining room or the winter dining room.

The castle offers a visit to the Duke of Albulfera's apartment, which has been fitted out to display a collection of objects and souvenirs that belonged to Duke Decrès, Minister of the Navy and Colonies throughout the 1st Empire.

A park designed for relaxation


Designed in 1855, the park of the castle offers you a soothing walk from the old Renaissance garden (rose garden) at the foot of the turrets, the open-air theater, the small wood then the springs of white water, the river with its small equipped beach. and its pontoons, the large lawn and its perspective, the old ramparts, the outbuildings and finally the vegetable garden.
